We have recently been drafted in to support the project management of a Grade II listed farmhouse that has suffered extensive damage as a result of severe storms.
Due to the scale of deterioration uncovered, the project will require a full internal strip-out alongside significant structural works to stabilise and preserve the building. As with all listed properties, this must be approached with exceptional care, sensitivity, and close coordination with structural engineers, conservation specialists, and local authorities.
Our role will focus on managing the complex planning, sequencing, and compliance requirements associated with heritage restoration, ensuring the farmhouse is repaired and strengthened while respecting its historic fabric and character.
This is a challenging but rewarding project, and we look forward to guiding it through the early investigative stages and into a carefully executed restoration phase.
Further updates will follow as works progress.

Project Update: Bell Tower & Roof Completed
We are pleased to confirm that the new bell tower and roof installation is now complete. The works were carefully carried out to ensure the structure is fully weatherproof and structurally secure, while remaining sympathetic to the character of the existing building. This milestone represents a significant step forward in safeguarding the long-term integrity of the property following earlier storm damage.
Attention now turns to the next phase of works, with further updates to follow as the project progresses.

Project Update: Structural Works Completed
Internal structural works are now complete, including the installation of new lintels throughout the external walls and extensive stonework repairs. All works have been carried out in keeping with the building’s historic construction, ensuring both structural integrity and long-term durability. With this stage successfully finished, the project is now ready to progress into the next phase: traditional lath and lime render works.
Further updates will follow as the restoration continues.
